Konjac noodles, also called shirataki noodles, are made from the root of the Konjac plant - an Asian vegetable. Known as a wonder food, they contain very few calories, carbohydrates or fat. This traditional Japanese ingredient is ideal for a Japanese style hot pot (Sukiyaki), perfect in stews such as nikujaga, for a quick oriental stir-fry, or even as a substitute for ramen noodles. Suitable for vegans.
