It is surprisingly troublesome to make momiji oroshi. However, it is almost always good to have the secret spice, the grated radish mixed with red pepper. This momiji oroshi is finished with a moderate spiciness and flavour. Good for hot pot dishes such as shabu-shabu, tempura, tofu, grilled fish, steak, soba and udon, etc., get your dish colourful and make full use of the flavour of the raw ingredients.
