Description
Masuda Seimen Goto Tenobe Udon is made in Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture using the traditional hand-stretching method. While applying edible camellia oil, which is a specialty of the islands, the noodle craftsmen repeatedly stretch the stick-shaped dough over two chopsticks, and repeat the process of making thin string-shaped noodles until the noodles are mature and dry. The noodle craftsmen who have inherited this traditional technique create noodles unique to Goto udon that are strong and hard to cut. It has a luster like white porcelain, and the smooth and smooth texture of the noodles, combined with the rich flavour of the noodles themselves and the camellia oil, bring out a simple yet deep flavour. That is the feature of Goto udon. You can enjoy cold noodles as well as hot menus.
