These traditional umeboshi (pickled plums) are made from carefully selected Nanko plums, which are the highest-yielding plums in Japan and grown in Minabe, Wakayama Prefecture. They are prepared using the age-old Japanese method of salting and drying the plums in the sun with natural sea salt, resulting in a sour and salty umeboshi. They have a salt content of 20% and a shelf life of 14 months. These umeboshi feature plump and satisfying 3L-sized plums.
