This beautiful ruby-colored Altbier boasts the rich, roasted aroma of caramel malts, complemented by the fragrant notes created by the yeast. The beer strikes a perfect balance between umami and bitterness, offering a satisfying mouthfeel without being too heavy. It pairs excellently with meat dishes, particularly sausages, a classic pairing in Germany. While it's a great match for Western (meat-based) cuisine, it s not as suited to Japanese food. To fully appreciate its ruby color, it s recommended to enjoy it in a glass with a shape similar to a brandy glass.
