鶏の鶏冠（とさか）に形状が似ていることからこの名前があります。彩や形が美しく、色物海藻の中でも特に人気があり、ほぼすべてが天然もので高級品として扱われています。飾り付けの際も海藻自体の立ち上がりがよく、ボリューム感や立体感の出しやすい海藻です。海藻サラダ、お刺身のツマ、酢の物、その他お添え物にご利用頂けます。塩蔵品となりますので、流水で塩抜きして、ご使用ください。
