Description
This umeboshi (pickled plum) is made from carefully selected Nanko plums, which are the highest-yielding plums in Japan and grown in Minabe, Wakayama Prefecture. The plums are first salted and dried in the sun, and then they undergo a second salting process before being dried again. No amino acid-based seasonings, preservatives, or vitamin B1 are used in the process. The umeboshi has a salt content of 5% and a shelf life of 14 months. It features plump and satisfying 3L-sized plums.
