Description

As the pinnacle of Saburoumaru Distillery’s blended whisky series, THE SUN is crafted using Saburoumaru’s malt whisky and house-aged grain whisky. Previous releases have featured malt aged in Mizunara oak casks and toasted barrels, handcrafted by a local cooperage in Toga, Toyama Prefecture. A key characteristic of this whisky is its smoky yet aromatic flavour profile, developed through maturation in sherry and wine casks, reflecting the distillery’s meticulous approach to cask selection and blending.
