Description
Bring the authentic flavour of unagi to your table with Yutaka Unagi Grilled Eel. This tender eel has been charcoal-grilled and seasoned in the traditional kabayaki style, giving it a rich, smoky flavour complemented by a glossy, sweet and savoury sauce.
Fully cooked and supplied frozen for convenience, it can be heated in the microwave in approximately three minutes. Serve the warmed eel over a bowl of freshly steamed Japanese rice to make unadon, a classic Japanese grilled eel rice bowl. For an extra authentic finishing touch, drizzle over additional unagi sauce and add a light sprinkle of fragrant Japanese sansho pepper.
The eel can also be sliced and used for nigiri sushi, sushi rolls, bento boxes or tamagoyaki. An easy way to enjoy Japanese restaurant-style grilled eel at home in the UK.

- To Oven cook:
Remove the frozen eel from the packet and wrap it in foil. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes at 180 degree. Remove the foil and aserve.
To Microwave
Pierce film and place the pack of frozen eel on a microwavable plate. Cook for 2-3 minutes with 800W.
To Boil:
Place the frozen ell packet into boiling water for 5minites. Remove from packaging and serve.
